WEEK 3
Someone who Rashad had “friended” on Facebook – a person he
had met once at a party but didn’t know very well – started posting weird
photographs on Rashad’s timeline. After discussing the situation with his dad,
Rashad sent the person a private message asking him to stop, but the
inappropriate postings continued. Rashad too three additional actions: He
“unfriended” the person on Facebook, he blocked the person from seeing his
Facebook account, and he finally reported the offensive photographs to Facebook
administrators.
But then again, maybe sending a message asking this person to stop wasn't enough that's why what Rashad's did when he unfriended, blocked, and report the offensive photographs was really the best way to stop this person from pestering his peaceful social-life.
If I were Rashad and I will be in this same kind of scenario, I will do the same thing also. After all, when the problem was all about social media it is the least that we can do to prevent the said scenario--- cyber bullying. But for me, unlike Rashad I will keep some of the word photographs as evidence if ever this person finds another way to communicate again with me and the unwanted post of photos continues.
